| The
Ultra-D Surgical
Hands unit is used to quickly, conveniently and
effectively ULTRA-Disinfect
hands and arms up to the elbows. Ultra-D is
redefining the term “Clean Hands”. As easy to
use as a touch-free hand dryer, Ultra-D is
virtually silent (so sleeping patients aren’t disturbed).
By placing your hands inside the cleaning portals
on the Ultra-D machine, you start an automatic
5 second “dry-misting” process that
Ultra-Disinfects (killing 99.9999% or 6 log of all harmful bacteria,
viruses and spores) all
the surfaces on your hands while leaving your
skin soft and smooth. |
| Conventional
methods of hand cleaning (soap and water or alcohol
based gels) have proven to leave substantial
colonies of microorganisms alive on your hands
while often causing serious drying and cracking
(Eczema) in the process. |
| Ultra-D
Surgical Hands requires
no formal training, is safe enough to use hundreds
of times daily and is effective and gentle on
all surfaces of your hands - every time! And
for those environments where disposable gloves
are used, Ultra-D is
just as fast, safe and effective at Ultra-Disinfect
of your
gloves if you break aseptic technique during
a procedure. Ultra-D is
the most practical hand cleaning technique available
today. |

| More
and more data is pointing to improving hand hygiene
as one the most critical factors in reducing Hospital
Acquired Infections in hospitals. Though alcohol
based hand sanitizers have become popular, they have
proven to be ineffective against some microorganisms
(like C-Diff and MRSA) and have become unpopular
with many users due to the dry, cracking skin conditions
they can cause. |
| The Ultra-D
Surgical Hands can used virtually anywhere Ultra-Disinfection of
hands to the elbow is needed. In hospitals: Ideal
for surgical suites and much faster (5 seconds) scrub
time between surgical cases. |
